sieve - pain scale

The third EP from Sieve is now available just in time for the dark, cold nights of the autumn and winter seasons. Seven more tracks of brutal dub-step and industrial mayhem, this one pounces on you and doesn't let go.

Stunning IDM by TETARISE not to be missed!

"We know not what is good until we have lost it."

Have you ever analyzed the past or asked yourself: "What if...?" Unsaid words, unfinished deeds, hopelessly lost time - all of it is like an echo with a delay fading into compressed and distorted reverberation. Youâd wish to press "hold" and crash the memories into pieces once and for all.

"k.a.m.a." is an attempt to recreate certain episodes of my past. Various memories come to thought â some are good, some arenât. They are partial, blurred and fullfilled with the imagination. That's why almost half of them are garbled and seem more like a dream rather than reality. Most usual and common episodes become warmer and enlightened, even can cause joy or a smile. Significant events resemble miracles in the darkness of everyday life.

The first track "Locked Deep Inside" is a preamble. It's like I'm rummaging the closet, throwing away the rubbish and stumbling upon a music box. Its melody is like something that passed away long ago. Slowly it grows into something bigger, breaking the borders of past and present, reality and fantasy."

I found this one on another blog. The artist and the netlabel (Silent Flow) are both new to me. These songs are really good. It has elements of older Autechre, but only if they'd decided to dabble around in the sort of panning effects that psytrance producers use- and then sprinkled the whole thing with a melancholia similiar to any emotional music you can think of-- it's all in here. Beautiful stuff-- sad, happy, trippy, and complex. That's my best description- which leaves it still mostly undescribed---

Grab it here and be amazed >>>>http://www.archive.org/details/Tetarise-K.a.m.a

Triple disc electronica on SUTEMOS

Three discs-- Sleep, Play, and Think...

The "Play" disc is one good track after another-- Leon Somov, Sleepy Town Manufacture, even Ulrich Schnauss to name just a few...
"Sleep" of course, has the dreamier numbers--  and "Think" is abstract and complex, even noisy at times. It even comes with a folder full of these cool pictures!

VIA ARCHIVE.ORG:    After releasing the second volume of Intelligent Toys series we said to ourselves that it is probably the last one in the series. Just because we thought that it is impossible to beat the quality we have created ourselves. And after that we released third volume. Fourth volume wasn’t long to come. And every time we thought the same. Although not all of them were better than previous ones (for some of our fans first volume still remains the best).

So it‘s no surprise that this time we also think that it is impossible to make a better compilation. As the matter of fact we aren‘t sure about the sixth volume. The reason still remains the same. But this time we have prepared even three hours of various music. As usual we offer you to download all of our intelligent toys and pick the ones that best fit your mood, taste and weather outside your window.

It still remains a mystery for the artists, journalists and for some of our listeners how Sutemos manage to gather so many famous electronic music artists and give their music away FOR FREE. Fifth volume of Intelligent Toys is featuring 39 tracks which were selected from more than 100 pretenders. As the matter of fact we can create couple of awesome compilations from everything that is left. This time we serve you probably the biggest number of highly acclaimed artists that aren‘t collaborating with any of the net labels and who thought that giving their music away for free is stupid. Until now.

In this volume you will hear famous German artist AGF which recently produced Ellen Alien‘s "Sool" album. We are also delighted that Ulrich Schnauss – an artist has agreed to share his track with you. As usual we just can‘t help inviting our own, Lithuanian artists – Leon Somov, Few Nolder and IJO. We hope that you will also enjoy Yagya – a cute dub techno celebrity from distant Iceland, crazy Funckarma brothers (it seems that they just can‘t stop making music – 7 different monikers and more than 10 albums in their discography) and intelligent Finnish composer – Vladislav Delay.

This time we also decided to add bonus to our pure Lithuanian virtual gallery – you can download a music video of Sleepy Town Manufacture‘s "O Nei" track. This music video was made by no_joy whose art has already because a solid part of our releases. It took more than three months to draw everything by hand and turn to animate it.

Antiscarp Records in Finland...

If you like Sphongle or Loop Guru-- this is worth a listen. I've played it probably 4 times in the last 36 hours-- one track has nice female vocals and the samples are interesting and very psychedelic-- great production and it never gets old or monotonous...
Finnish netlabel Antiscarp Records is now a Beatport label, but they have an enormous back catalog of free mp3 music that rivals some of the best of any commercial psytrance/electronic music you will ever find--
So, pour an extra deep glass of wine and make sure your speakers are far enough apart. You are about to embark on a sonic adventure into colorful sound!

Yeah- it's a bizarre link- I wish Antiscarp would upload to archive.org- they would get more exposure- which they very much deserve! Psytrance can be very cookie-cutter in design- but Antiscarp breaks all molds!! Their releases are fresh, original, trippy and danceable- the best of all worlds!

If you have an itch for more of these wild sounds-- check out their website here-- http://www.antiscarp.com/online_releases.html

ORGANIC CIRCUITRY by EKTOPLAZM

Conceived as a celebration of the vibrant diversity of the global psychedelic trance underground, Organic Circuitry features an exotic blend of new school Goa trance, fat and funky full-on, pumping progressive, and deeply enchanting downtempo. Although differing in their approach, the songs of Organic Circuitry are united in their common emphasis on the power of melody to convey ideas and emotions. Every track shimmers with colour and light--fantastic stories waiting to be told.

Get your summer started with some psychedelic trance--   http://www.archive.org/details/EKTVA01

Sound Tribe Sector 9... 1999

From the wiki----
"STS9's music resists easy classification. One helpful analogy is to the title track of the Miles Davis album Nefertiti, where the rhythm section essentially replaces the melodic instruments as the driving improvisational force. In the same way STS9's compositions and improvisations (especially from the early part of their career) are driven by their drummer and percussionist, often against a static melody repeated by the guitarist/keyboardist. This is keeping with the tradition of much drum and bass music, which often features complicated drum patterns under relatively simple melodies and harmonies. Despite the harmonic simplicity of much of their work they are capable of a high level of rhythmic sophistication."
